Vacation Bible School registration is now open through July 17. It will be the week of August 5-9. This year we’re excited to have a Edge component of VBS for those entering 6th-8th grades. Download the VBS Registration form here!

Fiesta White Elephant Sale

Here are some of the things that you can donate: furniture  baby items, toys, electronic toys, dishes, glassware, kitchen items, knick knacks, holiday decor, bicycles, jewelry, pictures, frames, games, puzzles, tools, sports equipment, patio furniture, hard/paper back books, small appliance  TVs, VCRs and computer games. Your donation can be delivered to the tent behind the parish hall starting Saturday, May 3rd.

R.C.I.A. 2014

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults – best known by its abbreviated name R.C.I.A. – is the spiritual process which prepares adults to receive one or more of the “Sacraments of Initiation,” namely the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

New Bells

Thanks to the generosity of several parishioners, we now have a magnificent new set of electronic bells from the Maas-Rowe Carillon Company of Escondido, California. Maas-Rowe manufactures unique electronic carillons that employ struck metal “miniature bells” to produce an authentic live bell sound acclaimed by musical experts. The entire Christian community of Ascension Catholic church, as well as all our neighbors, are deeply grateful to the families who contributed to the new bell fund.
